Wartime Support:
Strengthening the Wives

We are proud to support the 150+ wives of our married scholars, whose devotion to their families and to their husbands’ Torah study is extraordinary-especially in times of war. When husbands are called to emergency reserve duty, many wives are left managing everything alone, including the anxiety of sirens and the urgent reality of getting children to a shelter at any hour.

Neighborhood Coordinators:
Help with Real Life

To ensure no one faces these challenges alone, the Yeshiva funds neighborhood coordinators who provide practical and emotional support, including:

Help when a husband is called up to the reserves

Assistance around childbirth

Household support, lunch deliveries, cooked Shabbat food, and babysitting during high-stress periods

In-house psychologist

We also provide access to a part-time in-house psychologist for wives and couples, along with monthly programs for women-creative workshops, Torah learning, social connection, and classes that promote shlom bayit.

Building community and resilience

To foster strength and togetherness, the Yeshiva organizes Shabbatonim, holiday gatherings, summer activities, and children’s events.

Voices from Our Community

“The Yeshiva is like family. They take care of every detail - from gift vouchers to Shabbat meals - especially when our husbands are called up to IDF reserve duty. I’m truly grateful.”
Bat Tzion M.
“I want to thank Yeshivat Bet El for the wholehearted support in the community. There are meaningful women’s activities, personal attention, and a genuine sense that someone will help if we need it. Free professional guidance is available, and everything is done with warmth—so everyone feels they belong. People stay here not only because of the Torah, but because the community is truly nurturing and connecting.”
Hallel Y.
“We are blessed with a full support system: four female coordinators, a psychologist, a counselor, a Shabbat playroom for children, a soldiers’ coordinator, and a listening ear for every need, be it emotional or financial. The Yeshiva team repeatedly emphasizes they are here for us, and we truly feel at home, building homes of Torah with broad hearts, comfort and joy.”
Shira B.
